As others have mentioned it's not real marble but you shouldn't expect that for the price (not to mention it would be difficult to ship). The surface looks good to me though. It's not as slippery as marble would be so your glasses or whatever you put on it won't slide easily.

    This is a great piece that fits perfectly on a medium/small wall. So easy to assemble, just have to put the legs on and the bottom shelf.

    Nice looking, sturdy piece used for everyday use. Ample storage for my usage.

    Service and delivery comments:

    The first bar I ordered was damaged in numerous areas and one of the doors was shifted completely out of alignment.
    Customer service was good, they shipped out a new one and it arrived quickly. However.... the second piece arrived damaged as well! Luckily it was a piece that I was able to swap out with the first one I recieved. Will NOT be ordering a large item again.

    Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

              Not sure yet because my product was damaged.

              Service and delivery comments:

              My buffet and bar did not arrive in good condition. The doors were cracked all the way down and other areas of the bar was broken. It looked like it had been dropped during delivery. I called to exchange and the customer service person was great and very polite. I ordered it again and hopefully it will come without all of the damage. The picture of the bar looks really good so I hope it comes perfectly the next time around.

              Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
