Speaking of made-to-last, this bar stool is constructed from solid hardwood with a welcoming, warm brandy finish. The square legs slightly taper at the bottom for a tasteful touch, and the full footrest adds stability ... and a home for tired feet. For your comfort and peace of mind, the seat cushion is made of fire-resistant foam upholstered in faux leather. You can easily slide this bar stool out the way when it's not in use. Measures: 18W x 29H inches. Some assembly requried.

    One of the stools has swivel seat off center.
    Another of our 3 stools has 2 legs that the holes don't line up to accept both the screws.
    2 of the 3 stools were flawed.

    We are satisfied that they are strong enough to only have 1 screw at each leg ( on 2 of the 4 legs ).
    As for the off center swivel seat, we can't hide that at all, so we have that stool in the corner where it is least noticeable

      THE BAR STOOLS ARE FOR MY HOME BAR. I READ ALL THE REVIEWS AND MOST WERE GOOD OR GREAT. THERE WAS ONE THAT SAID THE BAR STOOLS DID NOT LOOK LIKE THE ONLINE PHOTO. THIS BUYER SAYS THAT THEY ABSOLUTELY LOOK EXACTLY LIKE THE PICTURE!!.. EACH ONE TOOK ABOUT 20 MINUTES TO PUT TOGETHER. ALL THE HOLES MATCHED UP.
      ONE NOTE.. TIGHTEN THE SCREWS ON A FLAT SURFACE ON THE FOOTREST THEN THE SEAT, AND REPEAT, AND YOU WILL GET A STURDY NONE WOBBLY STRAGHT BAR STOOL!!
      ALSO CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS GREAT AND YOON WAS SO HELPFUL. THEY CAME BY FEDEX ON TIME.

          After several purchases at Hayneedle, this will be the last. Mainly due to poor customer service, but also poor product description. I had ordered 3 of these bar stools previously, and was satisfied. I decided to order 2 more, and what arrived was a different color and style. I double checked and did order the exact same item number. The picture matches what I received the first time, but not what's shipping now. Customer service said the manufacturer changed the item but kept the same number, and I would have to pay the return shipping since the return was what they call for "preference". Since that was quite high, I am stuck with 2 chairs that don't match. They lost a customer. Don't buy these since you will not receive what you see in the picture.

          Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
