        These stools look great at my kitchen island. They are pretty nice and attractive. My biggest con is the foot rest is very low and being 5'2" my feet just hang and after a little while I have pins and needles in my lower legs. I wouldn't say they were difficult to assemble but it was time consuming. We ordered 5 of these and the foot rest was broken on one of them. I had to return the whole chair and have a new one sent. I wish they could have just sent the part that was broken instead of having the hassle of re-packing and sending the whole chair back. Seat is pretty comfortable but I couldn't rate it comfortable for the fact that the foot rest is too low. I'm keeping them because they do look good but it's just too much of a hassle to return them so I'll deal with the foot rest issue.

        Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

          We bought 4 of these for our breakfast bar and we love them. Just don't stand on the support bars, we had one that broke when my husband stood on it and he is not an overweight guy.
